After finishing our summer adventures, this picture says it all...
These two boys were anxious to see their daddy and be in Texas! Strider surprised us and waited by our gate. The boys ran and screamed when they saw him. They did not want to leave his side and both boys begged for him to hold them. It was quite a site seeing him carry both of them around the airport for a while!
We sure missed Strider for the month we were gone! We came to Texas where Strider showed us our new home. It only took me a few weeks to set up. It went by so fast though because the boys were enjoying their toys like they were brand new again. I really enjoy the neighborhood. There is a community pool and playgrounds that we've used frequently.
We went to see our new temple. The San Antonio Temple is a destination temple and is very beautiful with lots of unique features.
Since we were gone Tolman was in need of his 18 month shots. He was super brave and pointed to his bandaids when we mentioned his shots. He is in the 51st percentile for weight and 76th for height.
We got annual passes to SeaWorld and have gone weekly since. Here are the boys with a Diver from Grayson's favorite show Azul!

Shamu show pictures- The first time we went Tolman slept through it. This last time Strider was able to come for the first time.
The boys also started classes at The Little Gym here. They absolutely love it. Grayson calls it "flip class". Tolman is very comfortable in gym too and loves to jump and run around.
Labor Day weekend we were able to finally have some quality family time together. (Strider had been real busy working long hours during his General Surgery rotation). We stopped by Home Depot for their Saturday craft and the boys made a football field goal post. They really got into it. Tolman would not let go of the screw driver!
Monday we went fishing with our neighbors. Grayson caught 8 tiny fish. He and Strider enjoyed every minute, while Tolman and I chased the ducks. We also saw turtles and a water snake while we were there too. We are excited we live so close to this little lake.
Those are our San Antonio adventures for now, but there are plenty more to come! Our next rotation is Psychiatry in Hawaii. We are way excited!!

What a perfect destination for a psych rotation! ha ha That way he'll have a gorgeous beach to enjoy after all the craziness (no pun intended)
