Greatest Show on Earth

Grayson started reading the Book of Mormon. We found a cute bookmark that has rewards as we read and the first one was "skating past Jerusalem". Grayson suckered me into buying these Lightning McQueen skates instead. They were a hit until he realized how unsteady he was. He has really picked up on reading and enjoys playing with Tolman and his friends.
Tolman is becoming such a little boy. We just love to see his developing personality. He is social and starting to talk more. His favorite phrases are "ball" and "shoot" (he loves basketball). He also will bring us his "shoes". His favorite ones are his "boots". He loves to take off his shoes every time we get in the car! This is how I usually find the boys. They have their moments, but for the most part they love playing alongside each other. Grayson is very protective of Tolman. He also takes his role as Tolman's "teacher" very seriously.Strider recently had a father/son date with Grayson to the circus. I think it's an understatement to say he was spoiled all night! With a metro ride, hat, cotton candy, popcorn, binoculars, dad, animals and dancing girls he was set! Minus the cotton candy I guess he spit that out on his shirt.
One happy boy!He loved those binoculars! The "dancing girls" I mentioned were actually the tight rope ladies that Grayson seemed to like the best :)
The tigers! Grayson told me the man went around and counted the girl and boy ones. And the elephants! Half way through at a slow point Grayson told Strider he wanted to go back and ride the metro... it obviously was a highlight for him!So glad the boys got to go have a fun night! They got home around 10pm and Grayson was so wired he didn't get to bed until midnight!
