Anyone still reading? I'm pretty much a scrapbook blogger regular. Sorry about that or not if you're still reading I guess. I really like photos and it's what I do to keep our lives somewhat documented. However, I need to remember blogging isn't Instagram. ;) Thank goodness for lag time.
Speaking of time, I don't always take the time to expound my thoughts and feelings, but I feel I should after this event. We packed up the boys (2 month old Bridger even made the cut) and drove up north to camp with friends. And not just any friends, but those kind of friends that are the family you choose. I love those kind! Sometimes I feel we didn't even choose it this way though, the Lord did.
Perhaps you already know... I'm referring to the Farnsworth Roberts Sorensen clan. Most people who have met us in the last 3.5 years know and clump the whole group of us together. Friends established in the summer of 2010, where USUHS, our Military Medical School experience brought us together. Crazy to think we started with 3 kids and will expand to 8 before graduation! It's hard to say that word graduation because it will be what separates us. Or I guess I should say the military... or our specialties? Well...whatever we blame it on, it's going to happen. Hard to believe. We all find out where we'll be stationed for residency this time next month. Can't help but feel so incredibly blessed and grateful the Lord saw fit to bring us together!
Boys around the campfire. We camped at Enchanted Rock just outside of Fredericksburg, TX.
The troops! Minus the littlest ones. The kids loved the playground that was just above our campground!
Bridger was kept real snug and warm while we camped. I didn't want him getting cold.
We loved the nice kid friendly Summit Trail hike.
Cutting up and trying some prickly pear
Kids got some great treats at the top!
Gotta love Grayson's family photo faces ;)
Me, Bridger and Tolman
So glad I captured Strider and Grayson teasing around.
Lets not forget to show this little 2 month old, who is still full of smiles. He was 12 pounds at his 2 month doctor visit and in the upper 50th percentiles.
