Little Joys with the Boys

A while back we met up with some friends and went to the National Zoo. We love to go whenever the weather permits. Grayson loved the lions.
And the panda was actually close!
We had our friend Max over one night and we decided to carve out a pumpkin together. I think Max was the only one that enjoyed it. :)
Strider promised Grayson a fort night again. Tarzan was the movie of choice. :)
Stride went all out and set up the air mattress and an elaborate fort. No sleeping on the floor this time!
I love the little simple joys of family togetherness!

Boys Weekend

The title is true for both me & Strider. I hung out with Grayson & Tolman, while Strider met up with his dad for a football game.  I had a great time as we played, took naps & watched our church's general conference.  I look forward to general conference as I listen to counsel from our modern day prophet, apostles & other church leaders. To see or view the conference go here.  The boys took naps, which allowed me to really focus on conference. :)  Meanwhile my husband sat himself here in Wisconsin-
Strider flew & met his dad for the Nebraska vs Wisconsin football game.  They're both Husker fans, but Strider had a win-win situation since he served a church mission in Wisconsin.
It was a quick weekend, freezing and the Huskers got crushed, but it was good to see Wisconsin, his dad & football.
Can't you tell Stride was excited and Ken was a little upset by the outcome. haha :)

Preschool & Brotherly Love

Grayson started a co-op preschool last week. This picture was taken before we left.  Can we say excited?  He loves getting together with other kids and having a teacher besides mom. ;)
Tolman & Grayson with their matching sports pajamas
Tolman woke up happy & sitting up one day. Grayson always seems to run in when I go get him.
Grayson loves Tolman so much. The next pictures show you just how much.  haha!

They sure keep me busy these days. They're my full time job, but yet I feel they're the ones teaching me how to be a better mother.  Even with all the craziness... I love my job!
