We did a cute little Mohawk for the first time and I guess it made Grayson feel wild and daring. He decided he would try to fly from his carseat (on the counter) to the floor. As you can see- he didn't land so gracefully. I was close near by and feeling miserable for leaving him for 2 seconds. I hurried and butterflied his busted chin and wet down his bloody mouth (he bit his tongue) and called Strider. After a quick trip to the ER, Grayson's chin got glued back together.
Unfortunately, his accident hasn't phased him much because he is up and ready for more action. He is pulling himself up on everything he can get a hold of (my leg, the couch, TV, high chair, toy baskets, his crib, etc.) I guess the pulling up stuff wouldn't be so bad if he knew how to properly get himself down. He wants to be able to walk, but he has bad balance and just wants to just take off running instead of takin' it slow! We went camping this weekend and he even climbed over my legs (as I was sitting) and fell face first into the dirt/rocks. Crazy, crazy boy!
