Happy Turkey Day

Thanksgiving 2010
Strider is amazing. He cooked the turkey, stuffing and 3 pies! Our feast was delicious and we enjoyed it with my cousin, her family and 2 of Strider's classmates. We are so grateful for family, friends and yummy food! We had a wonderful day and even took Grayson to his first movie at the theaters that night- Tangled.

We had an early birthday party for Grayson November 20th.
Grayson loved opening his presents

Grayson & Liam
We gave him Thomas the Train. He takes him everywhere now!
We had a little Toy Story Party and ate yummy soups in breadbowls.
Excited for cupcakes and the flame of course
We had to teach him how to blow it out.
This is Grayson coming down the stairs on his
birthday November 23rd
Grayson and I got to play all day!
We met Strider for lunch and pizza at his school.
Playing in his big boy bed (which is his crib with the toddler rail)
We picked up dad after school and went to the mall. Grayson had been dying to ride this train that goes along all the shops. I can't believe how big he is! He loved celebrating his birthday and hearing people sing Happy Birthday to him.

Saturday Surprise... and Worms

After a long week and a grueling Biochemistry test for Strider we needed some fun this weekend! We started off downtown with friends to the Museum of Natural History. Grayson really liked seeing the dinosaur bones. Strider and I enjoyed it as well. Saturday we woke up to give Grayson an early birthday surprise...

He's been wanting one for so long!! We got this one for free. It's a bit big, but the training wheels help and after winter it should be perfect for him!Dad pushing him along.
Later that morning we tried planting some tulips and Dad thought it would be fun to introduce Grayson to worms. At first Grayson was disgusted as was his mother. The boys won out though and Stride showed Grayson how to hold them. Yuck!
