EXPLANATION
So WHY... you may ask did I have the Afro?
{yes it was 100% REAL}
Most people guessed correctly...
SPONGE CURLERS!!
Stride's sista Kayla and I did an experiment
and lets just say the results were SCARY!!!
The creepiest part is that I actually went to student teaching with it. Lets just say that the comments were all over the place....

- "Is that a wig?"... My reply- "Come pull it and you can find out."
- "Hahaha.... why are you wearing that?"
- "Is that your real hair?"
- "Oh my goodness- I LOVE it!" (WHAT were these people thinking? Must have been lying to make me feel better)
- "What happened?"
- "You look like Annie"
- "Why did you do your hair that way? I liked it the way you had it before."
Needless to say- Kayla and I won't be doing any more experiments- or at least not that close to my head. WHOOPS! But boy did it make for a day of giggles and funny questions, remarks and faces!!

Weekend Drive
Last weekend our little family went on a trip. We went to CALIFORNIA for Strider's sisters cheer competition in LA and so we took a DRIVE...
For 6 HOURS!!!
For 6 HOURS!!!
when he is asked to go to a cheer competition!
because he is at SIX FLAGS!
He's trying to get Tiffany pumped for the rides too.
Drive. Cheer Competition. Six Flags. Drive.
It went by fast, but we sure had fun. I enjoyed watching the girls compete and Strider absolutely LOVED Six Flags. Those rides were INTENSE. Thanks again to Grandpa Farnsworth who took care of Little G while we got nauseous at the theme park!

Rice Cereal
I guess I'll eat it for you guys.
Grayson is laughing more and becoming quite the character... Or at least we think so because of all his silly facial expressions! Little G continues to grow and we're sure having fun with the new adventure of feeding him rice cereal. This first time (that's pictured here) we fed it to him with a spoon. However, he must of been really hungry because he hasn't had it on a spoon since. He definitely prefers the bottle.
