Fun Filled Week

We took a trip to Arizona last week for Strider's spring break. The boys were tired on the late night flight there, but coming back to Maryland they were happy and slept lots. I think we are just now adjusted from the 3 hour time difference!

Somehow Strider didn't feel the slobber on his arm until he woke up! We were able to have Tolman's baby blessing while we were there. It was wonderful to be surrounded by family.
Tolman Jetter Farnsworth in his blessing outfit. So handsome and such a sweet blessing. Tolman after my Grandma's maiden name and Jetter for Strider's sister Kayla (her name if she were a boy).
We had a lot of fun with family and cousins. :)
Belated St. Patty's party... even though it looks like Christmas with all the red! The kids loved their green hair.
We went to a really fun bounce house.
Strider, Hunter & Kayla in their Velcro suits.
Grayson was in heaven!

I was so bad at taking pictures and so here are more details of what happened... Lowlights of the trip included Grayson getting sick, losing my phone twice and forgetting luggage at the airport. Highlights included the Sea Life Aquarium, the Phoenix Zoo, BYU basketball games, playing outside, taking family pictures, shopping, and tons of Mexican food!!

Shots, Stats & Staples

Last week was a little rough...
Tolman had his 2 month appointment. I forgot how many shots they get. Sad. He was a champ though. He was 12.8 pounds!! His stats were: 51st percentile for weight, 63rd for height and 48th for head circumference. He is growing so fast!
Grayson and Tolman sure played nice though.
I got this out for Tolman and Grayson was having fun
showing him how to use it.
Grayson came running in to tell Strider and I the other day that "I made a picture of Grayson". He had found the camera and taken this picture of himself. We were too impressed to get upset.
These next few pictures of Grayson you may not want to view, but for documentation's sake I'm including them. He had to get staples in his head after falling off of exercise equipment.
It's hard to keep a 2 year old from touching things in the ER... This was one of the better moments. It was right before nap time that the incident occurred.
Before staples
After- staples were spaced a little weird, but they did the job and Strider takes them out tomorrow.

Pledge of Allegiance

A while back we taught Grayson the pledge... I missed recording the first words, but it was a little difficult because he was being so silly!

2 Months, 2 Weeks & 2 Looks

First of all... Happy March!
Next.... Tolman is 2 months today.
That right cheek has a rash thanks to all big brother's kisses.
Just 2 weeks and I will see my AZ family!
And guess what... I rolled over today.
Watch and see...

Now for the 2 looks
The first look needs 2 pictures- The picture above demonstrates the nastiness in the back of Grayson's hair and the picture below the craziness in the front.
And this is the second look! Much better. Hooray for haircuts!

What we've been up to...

Loving this little one!
Looks like he's thinking about something...
maybe an upcoming trip to AZ?
Grayson in action! Playing outside on our deck.
Trying to smile for mom! We ended February with potty training Grayson. It was an adventure. It made having 2 kids a little harder than I thought. Grayson sure has been doing his best though. We're proud of him and it's nice to finally get out of the house!

Last weekend we went to Chinatown...
We went down that way to visit the Crime & Punishment Museum. We learned some crazy stuff! It was a lot of fun, but the best part was we got in free (being in the military has some perks). It had 3 floors (1) crime/punishment over the years, (2) CSI investigation and (3) is the filming studio for America's Most Wanted. Way neat!
Grayson liked this 1963 Harley Davidson Police Motorcycle best.
