Well, it's been a while and so I decided to upload a ton of pictures. Consider yourself warned! Life has been wonderful with baby Tolman. We adore him and feel very blessed to have him. Can't believe it's already been a week since he was born. I am a little behind and so I backtrack a bit in this post...

Grayson loves his little brother. He is always wanting to give him kisses! He even likes to hold him, throw away diapers and give him his pacifier on occasion. He always lets us know when baby
Tolman's crying and loves to take a peek when he's sleeping. So far he has been an excellent big brother!

Dreaming in Daddy's arms

Special thanks to my wonderful mother who came and helped us
out right after I delivered! She flew in, got us settled and made our
house shine. She is amazing!

Home from the hospital. Family of FOUR!!

Strider caught me sleeping with little T in the hospital. He is such a good natured baby. He is happy, alert, loves to sleep and loves to eat!
My version of the birth story is not far off from Strider's... just longer of course! He mentioned my labor was 4 hours. I started getting 3-5 minute contractions at 6am Tuesday morning and they continued while Strider left to school. He wasn't even to school yet when he got the call that he should come back! It was around 7am that I knew these contractions were the real deal. Once he came back we woke up Grayson and got in the car. We dropped Grayson off at our friends at 7:30am and made it to the hospital by 8am. Contractions were horrible and stronger than what I remember with Grayson. In triage I was dilated to a 6 and later in the delivery room I was still at a 6. Contractions were still terrible and I told Strider I would need an epidural. In fact I was pretty mean to Strider and let him know that the anesthesiologists needed to hurry. Around that time I had a hard contraction and my water broke. I then was dilated to an 8. By the time they got there for the epidural I was really upset, complete and ready to push. Luckily, they still gave me an epidural, but just a single injection. This was very nice because it helped while pushing and wore off soon after. I also did a 180 and apologized for being so mean! Pushing went fast and Tolman Jetter Farnsworth was born January 4th at 9:57am. 7 lbs 2 oz and 20.5 in... So glad he's here!
