London's Run

Today I challenged myself to run the 10k at London's Run.
With little to no training I survived by jogging the whole race!
That was my goal. HOORAY!!

I'm so glad I did it! Running more is definitely
one of my goals this year.

Happy Birthday Strider!

Yesterday was Strider's big day.
He turned a quarter of a century!

He started off the morning in bed with breakfast,
play time with Grayson and then a scavenger hunt
for presents. After we finally dragged him out
of bed, part of the scavenger hunt led him here for
a free dozen for his birthday...
He finished his scavenger hunt and found his
presents: new flip flops and headphones.

We went to Macayos for a yummy lunch with his dad.
Afterward we went shopping for one more gift...

An IPod Touch! Strider has been beaming ever since. :)

Later on we had a delicious dinner and cake with the Farnsworth's!

To end the night Strider went and played flag football and when
he got home I had this one last surprise waiting for him!

We had a lot of fun celebrating Strider's birthday.
All of his family sure does enjoy him and had some
cute things to say about him. WE LOVE YOU STRIDE
and HAPPY 25TH!!

New Year Vacation

After our trip to California for the Holiday Bowl we drove up to Utah to visit my family to ring in the New Year. We had a good time and enjoyed some winter weather activities...

One of our Christmas gifts was to attend the Holiday Bowl with the Pittams. We had a blast!! Nebraska was playing UofA and Strider's family are huge Husker fans and so we came prepared to cheer on the Big Red! Here are a few photos from the game.
