Hawaii Arrival

Alright, so now that we're in Hawaii I have a ton of pictures!! Forgive me if this becomes a Hawaii blog for the next few weeks.  First off, we survived the flight from Dallas to Hawaii 8 hours later.  Felt so blessed there was 1 empty seat left on the plane and the flight attendant moved someone and let Tolman have it.  It was nice to have since he requires lots of space while he sleeps.  Our flight was delayed an hr in a half and so we got some lunch in the airport and let the boys run around. Once on the plane Tolman took a short nap, the boys watched shows and played, took a few walks, and had some dinner. Both boys eventually fell asleep for the night and the remainder of the flight. While it was nice to have sleeping boys, it was quite another story to have early 4am risers the following day!
We decided to take a bath to pass the time!
Sporting some Hawaii gear they already had on their first day.
Took a morning drive to the eastern side of the island to watch the sunrise. It was so beautiful and it made the early morning worth it! The boys were excited to watch.
We also strolled the beach (after a much needed morning nap) by the Hale Koa, a military hotel on Waikiki and the boys built a sandcastle.
We got several comments on the boys' hooded towels on our way out. People thought they looked like mini boxers.
The following day was another early morning and a rainy day. I was worried about what we would do, but then this came along! It was my motivation for the day since I was developing somewhat of a cold.
We walked Strider down to work that morning and got wet and slightly lost in the hospital. Tripler hospital is just down the hill from our hotel room though.  It's huge and very pink!
We ended up resting and going to Pearl Harbor's NEX and commissary that day.  We also found some friends in our building. Feeling grateful they have 2 boys the same ages as Grayson & Tolman!
