We had some great times in San Francisco, while we were in California. We did the Alcatraz Island Tour. It was so much fun. We would recommend it!

While on the tour we saw a short historical show and took an audio tour of the prison facility. Grayson was really listening to all the details and tried to stay ahead of us. Tolman tried to listen, but mostly enjoyed being in control of the buttons and headset. Strider and I couldn't complain since it kept them busy and let us enjoy the tour!
The boys would look out at the water and all the birds that gather on the island.
On a separate trip to San Francisco we met up with Strider's parents and saw Ghirardelli Square, walked Pier 39 and trolleyed up and down the streets.
Grayson enjoying his hot chocolate and throwing a penny in the nearby fountain. Tolman meanwhile fell asleep and missed out on some delicious chocolate!
Strider's parents kindly waited in line for the trolley while Strider wrestled the boys and we walked down near the shore.
The boys liked being on the trolley and tried to sit still.
