Time to wrap up our rotation at Travis AFB... We did a lot over the 6 weeks we were there! Here are some of our final adventures.
Boys loved finding dandelions as well as the jackrabbits on base.
Our first weekend there we went and saw the Oakland Temple. The boys were entertained by a Star Wars Temple Hill Symphony Orchestra Concert on the grounds. They had some neat character choreography on stage that kept the boys mesmerized.
We went to the nearby Jelly Belly Factory just a few minutes from base. We did the tour and enjoyed one too many jelly beans!
We saw Epic on Memorial Day with Strider. The boys loved it in 3D!
We couldn't miss eating some In N Out in California. We also stayed with a family friend in Vacaville while we were there. We went swimming, bought local strawberries, park hopped and played in the downtown Vacaville splash pad.
Boys loved this styrofoam airplane their grandma got for them...
While Strider was busy studying for his OBGYN rotation exams the boys and I got out and played on the base playground. Playgrounds were comfortable for me to sit and the boys to get their energy out! I had my 28 week visit while I was there. Baby boy #3 is doing well.
Our friend also invited us to their family ranch in Winters, CA.
It was so fun for the boys to see all the animals.
They loved riding and seeing all the dogs.
We were also about 3 hours south from where Strider's brother, Dallin is serving his mission. He was up in Chico and we had a great visit. It was fun to get dinner, dessert and a tour from him and his companion.
