More Staples, Blood and Busy Boys

Not long after we got back Tolman and I attended a Gym Kids toddler time. Tolman was swinging on their rings and as he swung off he landed and bonked his head on a nearby bar stand. Thank goodness our doctor's office was down the street and helped me out 3 staples later. Oh the joys of being the mom of my busy boys! Never a dull moment.

The next day (April 11th) we had our 20 week ultrasound and we took Grayson with us.  He was convinced it was a girl (since he already has a baby brother).  Our results for the baby went something like this though... Pink. Not in this house.  It's a BOY!
Thankfully Grayson understood and has been trying to change his she's to he's! And yes, it was Strider's idea to freak me out and get a picture with the boys holding knives!
Tolman and I took a little field trip to SeaWorld one morning while Grayson was at preschool.  He has been enjoying this extra attention from mom (while brother is at school). I'm grateful to have had some one on one time with him before the baby comes in September.  He loved the sea lions and scored a free bubble gun from a sweet dad of older children.
Of course we rode the carousel and we even got soaked at the Shamu show (or as he calls him- Shampoo)
Tolman likes to "go to school" while Grayson does and so we will meet friends at the library for story time.  Here Tolman is with his friend Lucy. At this one he learned about Sharks.  He made a fun shark hat and got books and another hat to share with brother. Grayson is still such a bookworm! He also likes Strider's old glasses that are missing the lens'.
Boys got some new gear for the summer and had to try them out in the bathtub!
Had a great family night at a nearby pond feeding the ducks.
The rest of these are from the boys clowning around- riding bikes, shooting nerf guns and playing dress up!
That was our April! Now onto our May adventures... coming soon!

Oh Tolman! Raising boys looks hard. So far my dainty girls have yet to hurt themselves to that caliber.
